Directions are for Small Size (34 to 36). Changes for Medium (38 to 40) and Large (42 to 44) are in parentheses.

MATERIALS REQUIRED:
Columbia-Minerva KNITTING WORSTED (4 oz pull skein) OR NANTUK 4-PLY KNITTING YARN (2 or 4 oz pull skein): 8 (10-12) ozs
Needle: One "Boye" crochet hook Size J

Gauge: 1 pat to 1 inch

Body: Ch 114 (126-138).

Row 1: 1 dc in 4th ch from hook, * skip 2 ch, 1 dc in next ch, ch 1, 1 dc in first of the skipped ch, repeat from * across, end 1 dc in each of last 2 ch, ch 3, turn. Row 2: 1 dc in next dc, * skip 2 sts, 1 dc in next dc, ch 1, 1 dc in first of the skipped sts, repeat from * across, end 1 dc in last dc, 1 dc in turning ch, ch 3, turn. There are 36 (40-44) pats with 2 dc at beg and end of row. Repeat Row 2 for pat, working to 16 inches or desired length to underarm. Width is 37½ (41½-45½) inches.

Front: 1 dc in next dc, work 7 (8-9) pats, 1 dc in each of next 2 dc, ch 3, turn, work 1 more row, ch 3, turn.

**Dec Row: 1 dc in next dc, holding back last loop of each dc, work 1 dc in each of next 2 dc, yo and through all 3 loops on hook for a dec dc, work to end. Next row work in pat to last 3 sts, work a dec dc over previous dec and next dc, 1 dc in turning ch, ch 3, turn.

Repeat from ** until 3 pats rem with the 2 dc at each side. Work even until armhole measures 10½ (11-11½)", fasten.

Back: Skip 3 pats on last long row, join yarn in next dc and ch 3, 1 dc in next dc, work 12 (14-16) pats, 1 dc in each of next 2 dc, ch 3, turn. Work to match front armholes. Fasten off. Skip 3 pats on last long row and work other front to correspond.

Sew shoulder seams. On right side, starting at lower right front edge crochet 1 sc in first row, * ch 1, 1 sc in next row *, repeat from * to * to shoulder seam, ch 1 and 1 sc across back of neck, repeat from * to * down left front. Fasten off.
