GAUGE: 20 sts = 4"; 21 rows = 4" in ribbing without stretching. 17 sts = 4"; 23 rows = 4" in St st.

To Fit Bust: 28-30 (32-34, 36-38, 40-42)".

FRONT: ** Cast on 64 (68, 72, 76) sts.

Row 1 (Right Side): K 1. P 1; rep from * across.

Row 2: K 1, P 1; rep from * across.

Rep Row 2 for ribbing until 9 ½ (9 ½, 10, 11)" from beginning, end wrong side row.

Shape Armholes: Keeping continuity of ribbing, bind off 3 sts at beginning of next 2 rows - 58 (62, 66, 70) sts.

Bind off 2 sts at beginning of next 6 rows - 46 (50, 54, 58) sts.

Dec 1 st each end of next 2 right side rows - 42 (46, 50, 54) sts. Work 1 row even. **

Shape Neck and Straps: Work across first 17 (19, 21, 23) sts, with a second ball of yarn bind off center 8 sts, work to end.

Working both sides of neck at the same time, bind off 2 sts at each neck edge 3 (4, 5, 6) times - 11 sts.

Dec 1 st at each neck edge on next 2 right side rows - 9 sts on each side.

Work even until 16 (16 ½, 17 ½, 19)" from beg. Bind off in ribbing.

BACK: Work same as front from ** to **. Work even for 2", end wrong side row. Shape Neck and Straps same as for front.

FINISHING: Sew side and strap seams. Weave in ends.
