Knitting Needles: 4mm [US 6].
2 Stitch holders. Yarn needle.
GAUGE: 22 sts = 4"; 30 rows = 4" in St st. CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size needles to obtain the gauge.
To Fit Bust: 28 (31, 34)".
Finished Bust Measurement: 31 (34, 37)".
BACK-Shape Waist: Cast on 86 (94, 102) sts. Work in St st, beg P row (Wrong Side), shaping waist by dec 1 st each end of every 6th row 5 times - 76 (84, 92) sts. Work even in St st until 6½" from beg, end P row.
Shape Bust: Inc 1 st each end of every 10th row 5 times - 86 (94, 102) sts. Work even in St st until 13½ (13¼, 13)" from beg, end P row.
Shape Armholes: Bind off 5 sts at beg of next 2 rows - 76 (84, 92) sts. Dec 1 st each end of every 4th row 13 (13, 15) times - 50 (58, 62) sts. Work a few rows even until armholes measure 8 (8¼, 8½)", end P row.
Shape Shoulders: Bind off 7 (11, 11) sts at beg of next 2 rows. Put rem 36 (36, 40) sts on a holder.
FRONT: Work same as back until 58 (66, 70) sts rem in armhole shaping, end K row. P 1 row.
Divide for Neck: K15 (19, 19) sts, put center 28 (28, 32) sts on a holder, with a 2nd ball of yarn, K15 (19, 19). Working on both sides at once, P 1 row. Now dec 1 st at each neck and arm edge on next row, then every 4th row until 7 (11, 11) sts rem. Work a few rows even until front measures same as back to shoulders, end P row. Bind off.
SLEEVES: Cast on 47 (51, 53) sts. Work in St st, beg P row (Wrong Side), shaping sides by inc 1 st each end of every 14th row 8 times - 63 (67, 69) sts. Work even until sleeve measures 16½ (16¼, 15¾)", end P row.
Shape Cap: Bind off 5 sts at beg of next 2 rows - 53 (57, 59) sts. Dec 1 st each end of every 4th row 9 (10, 10) times - 35 (37, 39) sts. Work 3 (1, 1) rows even.
Sizes Small and Medium Only: Dec 1 st each end of next (1, 2) K rows - (35) sts. P 1 row.
All Sizes: K2tog, K to center 3 sts, sl 2 sts as if to K2tog, K1, pass 2 slipped sts over, K to last 2 sts, sl 1, K1, pass slipped st over - 4 sts decreased. P 1 row. Rep the last 2 rows until 3 sts rem. Bind off.
FINISHING-Neckband: Sew left shoulder seam. With right side facing, K36 (36, 40) sts from back neck holder, pick up and K13 sts down left neck edge, K28 (28, 32) sts from front neck holder, pick up and K13 sts up right neck edge - 90 (90, 98) sts. Work even in St st for 2½", beg P row. Bind off.
Sew rem shoulder and neckband seam. Place center of sleeve top at shoulder seam and sew in place. Sew side and sleeve seams. Weave in ends.
