TLC® "Essentials™". Art. E514 (6 ounce/312 yards skein): 1 Skein No. 2915 Cranberry CA

Crochet Hook: 6.5mm [US K-10.5]. Yarn needle.

GAUGE: Rows 1-8 = 6 ½" wide x 3 ¼" high in pat. CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size hook to obtain the gauge.

With CA, ch 2.

Row 1 (Right Side): (Sc, ch 2, sc) all in 2nd ch from hook; turn.

Row 2: Ch 1, sc in first sc, ch 1, (sc, ch 2, sc) all in ch-2 sp, ch 1, sc in last sc; turn.

Row 3: Ch 1, sc in first sc, ch 1, sc in ch-1 sp, ch 1, skip next sc, (sc, ch 2, sc) all in ch-2 sp, ch 1, skip next sc, sc in ch-1 sp, ch 1, sc in last sc; turn.

Row 4: Ch 1, sc in first sc, ch 1, [sc in next ch-1 sp, ch 1, skip next sc] twice, (sc, ch 2, sc) all in ch-2 sp, [ch 1, skip next sc, sc in next ch-1 sp] twice, ch 1, sc in last sc changing to CB; turn.

Now work in Stripe pat of 4 rows CB, 2 rows CA.

Row 5: With CB, ch 1, sc in first sc, ch 1, * sc in ch-1 sp, ch 1, skip next sc; rep from * to ch-2 sp; (sc, ch 2, sc) all in ch-2 sp, ** ch 1, skip next sc, sc in next ch-1 sp; rep from ** to last sc; ch 1, sc in last sc; turn.

Rows 6-19: Keeping continuity of Stripe pat, rep Row 5.

Row 20: Ch 1, sc in first sc, ch 1, [sc in ch-1 sp, ch 1, skip next sc] 18 times, (sc, ch 2, sc) all in ch-2 sp, [ch 1, skip next sc, sc in next ch-1 sp] 18 times, ch 1, sc in last sc changing to CA; turn.

Width is now established. Work as follows for straight side edges:

Row 21: With CA, ch 1, skip first st, [sc in ch-1 sp, skip next sc] 19 times, (sc, ch 2, sc) all in ch-2 sp, [ch 1, skip next sc, sc in next ch-1 sp] 18 times, ch 1, skip next sc; draw up a lp in next sp, draw up a lp in last st, yo and draw through all 3 lps on hook - dec made; turn.

Keeping continuity of Stripe pat, rep Row 21 until wrap measures approximately 79" to point or desired length, end wrong side row.

Next Row: Ch 1, skip first st, [sc in ch-1 sp, skip next sc] 18 times, dec over last ch-1 sp and ch-2 sp; turn.

Next Row: Ch 1, skip first st, [sc in ch-1 sp, skip next sc] 17 times, dec; turn.

Next Row: Ch 1, skip first st, * sc in ch-1 sp, skip next sc; rep from * to last 2 sts; dec; turn.

Rep last row until the wrong side row "Ch 1, skip first st, sc in next sp, ch 1, dec; turn." has been worked.

Next Row: Ch 1, skip first st, dec. Fasten off.

With right side facing, attach yarn in ch-2 sp and complete to correspond to first side. Weave in ends.
