Red Heart® "Artesano™": 11 balls 4370 Equestrian.
Crochet Hook: 8mm [US L-11].
Yarn needle.

GAUGE: 10 sts = 4"; 12 rows = 4" in pattern stitch. CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size hook to obtain the gauge.

THROW

Ch 104.

Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in each ch across, turn - 103 sc.

Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), dc in each of the next 4 sc, *[skip next 2 sc, dc in next sc, ch 1, working backwards, skip second skipped sc and dc in first skipped sc - crossed dc made] 3 times, dc in each of next 5 sc; repeat from * across, turn.

Row 3: Ch 1, sc in each dc and each ch-1 space across, turn - 103 sc.

Row 4: Ch 1, sc in each of first 5 sc, *[skip next 3 sc, Fptr in next dc in Row 2 pulling loop up even with work, ch 1, working backwards, Fptr in dc in Row 2 below first skipped st pulling loop up even with work] 3 times, sc in each of next 5 sc; repeat from * across, turn.

Row 5: Ch 1, sc in each sc, in each Fptr and in each ch-1 space across, turn - 103 sc.

Row 6: Ch 1, sc in each of first 5 sc, *[skip next 3 sc, Fptr in next Fptr 2 rows below pulling loop up even with work, ch 1, working backwards Fptr in first skipped Fptr] 3 times, sc in each of next 5 sc *, repeat from * across, turn.

Rows 7-149: Repeat Rows 5 and 6. Do not fasten off, turn.
