TLC® "Essentials™": 23 Ounces No. 2313 Aran CA and 7 ounces No. 2332 Linen CB.

MODA DEA™ ''Dream™'': 5 Balls No. 3788 Whisper CC.

Crochet Hook: 5.5mm [US I-9]. Yarn needle.

GAUGE: 12 stitches (1 chevron) = 3 ¾" across; 4 rows = ¼". CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use size hook to obtain the gauge.

SPECIAL ABBREVIATIONS:

Dcdec = yo and draw up a lp in next st, yo and draw through 2 lps, skip 1 st, yo and draw up a lp in next st after skipped st, yo and draw through 2 lps, yo and draw through all 3 lps on hook.

Hdcdec = yo and draw up a lp in next st, skip 1 st, yo and draw up a lp in next st after skipped st, yo and draw through all 5 lps on hook.

Scdec = draw up a lp in next st, skip 1 st, draw up a lp in next st after skipped st, yo and draw through all 3 lps on hook.

How to Change color in sc (hdc, dc): Work the last st of the row until 2 (3, 2) lps are left on the hook; drop yarn in use; with next yarn to be used draw through all 2 (3, 2) lps on hook. Continue with new yarn. Cut previous yarn leaving 4-6" to weave in on wrong side.

With CA, ch 160.

Row 1 (Right Side): Dc in 4th ch from hook, * dc in next 4 ch, dcdec, dc in next 4 ch **, (dc, ch 2, dc) all in next ch; rep from * to last ch, end at **; 2 dc in last ch changing to CB in last dc; turn.

Row 2: With CB, ch 1, 2 sc in first dc, * sc in next 4 dc, scdec, sc in next 4 dc **, (sc, ch 2, sc) all in ch-2 sp; rep from * to last st, end at **; 2 sc in top of ch-3 changing to CA in last sc; turn.

Row 3: With CA, ch 3, dc in first sc, * dc in next 4 sc, dcdec, dc in next 4 sc **, (dc, ch 2, dc) all in ch-2 sp; rep from * to last sc, end at **; 2 dc in last sc changing to CC in last dc; turn.

Row 4: With CC, ch 1, 2 hdc in first dc, * hdc in next 4 dc, hdcdec, hdc in next 4 dc **, (hdc, ch 2, hdc) all in ch-2 sp; rep from * to last st, end at **; 2 hdc in top of ch-3 changing to CA in last hdc; turn.

Row 5: With CA, ch 3, dc in first hdc, * dc in next 4 hdc, dcdec, dc in next 4 hdc **, (dc, ch 2, dc) all in ch-2 sp; rep from * to last hdc, end at **; 2 dc in last hdc changing to CB in last dc; turn.

Rows 6-109: Rep Rows 2-5.

Rows 110-111: Rep Rows 2 and 3. Fasten off. Weave in ends.
