TLC® "Wiggles™", Art. E518 (3.5 ounce/250 yard ball): 5 Balls No. 100 White CA, 2 balls each No. 114 Light Yellow CB and No. 625 Light Blue CC.
Crochet Hook: 4mm [US G-6].|
Yarn needle.

GAUGE: One Motif = 4" x 4".
CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size hook to obtain the gauge.

NOTE: Motifs are joined into 9 strips of 10 motifs, and then the 9 strips are crocheted together. After the first motif of a strip, the remaining 9 motifs will be joined while working Rnd 4.

MOTIF 1: With CB, ch 4; join with sl st in first ch to form a ring.

Rnd 1: Ch 4, [dc, ch 1] 11 times in ring; join with a sl st to 3rd ch of ch-4.

Rnd 2: Ch 2, [yo and draw up a lp, yo and draw through 2 lps on hook] twice all in next ch-1 sp, yo and draw through all 3 lps on hook - beg cl made; ch 3; * [yo and draw up a lp, yo and draw through 2 lps on hook] 3 times all in next ch-1 sp, yo and draw through all 4 lps on hook - cl made, ch 3; rep from * around; join with a sl st to top of beg cl. Fasten off.

Rnd 3: Join CA in any ch-3 sp; ch 1, sc in same sp, [ch 5, sc in next ch-3 sp] 11 times; ch 2, dc in first sc to join and form last sp.

Rnd 4: Ch 1, sc over dc, * ch 5, sc in next sp, (5 dc, ch 3, 5 dc) all in next sp for corner **, sc in next sp; rep from * around, end at **; join with a sl st to first sc. Fasten off.

MOTIF 2-Rnds 1 and 2: Work same as for Motif 1 with CC.

Rnd 3: Work same as for Motif 1.

Joining Rnd 4: Ch 1, sc over dc, ch 5, sc in next sp, * 5 dc in next sp, ch 1, with wrong sides facing, sl st in corresponding corner ch-3 sp of adjoining Motif, ch 1, 5 dc in same sp on motif in progress for corner **, sc in next sp on motif in progress, sl st in corresponding sc of adjoining Motif, ch 2, sl st in ch-5 sp of adjoining Motif, ch 2, sc in next sp on motif in progress, sl st in corresponding sc of adjoining Motif; rep from * to ** once more - one side joined; [sc in next sp, ch 5, sc in next sp, (5 dc, ch 3, 5 dc) all in next sp] twice; join to first sc. Fasten off.

Alternating Motifs 1 and 2, join 8 more motifs in this strip. Make 8 more strips and arrange them with motifs alternating as shown.

Joining Strips Row: With right side of two strips facing each other and working through both layers, join CA on wrong side in corresponding bottom corner ch-3 sps; * ch 5, sl st in next sc, ch 2, sl st in next ch-5 sp, ch 2, sl st in next sc, ch 5 **, sl st in join of next corner; rep from * across, end at **; sl st in top cor-ner ch-3 sp. Fasten off.

Rep Joining Strips Row until all 9 strips are joined together.

Edging-Rnd 1: With right side facing, join CA in top right corner ch-3 sp; ch 1, 3 sc in same sp, 16 sc across top of Motif, * [sc in joining sp, 17 sc across next Motif] 7 times, sc in joining sp, 16 sc across next Motif to corner, 3 sc in corner ch-3 sp, 16 sc along side of same Motif, [sc in joining sp, 17 sc along side of next Motif] 8 times, sc in joining sp, 16 sc along side of next Motif to corner **, 3 sc in corner ch-3 sp, 16 sc across next Motif; rep from * around, end at **; join to first sc.

Rnd 2: Sl st in next sc, (ch 3, dc, tr; ch 3, sl st in last tr - picot made; 3 dc) all in same sc, * skip next 2 sc, [sc in next sc, ch 3, skip next sc] 3 times, sc in next sc, skip next 2 sc **, (3 dc, tr, picot, 3 dc) all in next sc; rep from * around, end at **; dc in same sc as beg ch-3; join to top of ch-3. Fasten off. Weave in ends.
