Quick and delicious this 7 layer dip is super easy to make and perfect for parties, game days and family night.  You can easily double; triple or even quadruple the ingredients depending on how many guests you have.

Simply choose a dish or platter to assemble it on and start adding your layers.  Serve with your favorite chips.

Ingredients

  • 1 (1 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
  • 1 (16 ounce) can refried beans
  • 1 (16 ounce) container sour cream
  • 1 (16 ounce) jar chunky salsa (or pico de gallo)
  • 1 cup guacamole
  • 1 large tomato, chopped
  • 1 bunch green onions (or 1 yellow onion)
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 (6 ounce) can sliced black olives, drained (optional - for garnish)

Directions:

In a bowl, mix the taco seasoning mix and refried beans.

Spread beans into a serving dish.

Spread the sour cream evenly over the beans.

Layer three should be the salsa. Using salsa creates a thinner dip but gives it more flavor.

The next layer should be guacamole. Here we’ve only added it to one side as some people don’t like it.

Layer five will be the onions. You may want to reserve a few for garnish.

Tomatoes come next. Again, save a few for garnish.

The final layer should be your cheese.

Garnish with remaining onions, tomatoes and black olives.
