MODA DEA™ "Ticker Tape™", Art. R117 (1.76 ounce/67 yard ball) 10 Balls No. 9727 Charade.

Crochet Hook: 10mm [U5 N-15].

Yarn needle.

GAUGE: one repeat = 3 ½"; 4 rows = 3 ¼". CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size hook to obtain the gauge.

Finished Size (folded): 30" wide x 21" long.

Ch 54.

Row 1 (Wrong Side): Sc in 2nd ch from hook, [skip next 3 ch, 4 tr in next ch, ch 4, skip next 3 ch, sc in next ch] 6 times, skip next 3 ch, 4 tr in last ch; turn.

Row 2 (Right Side): Ch 1, sc in first tr, [skip next 3 tr, 4 tr in next sc, ch 4, sc in next tr] 6 times, skip next 3 tr, 4 tr in last sc; turn.

Rep Row 2 for pat until 60" from beg, end wrong side row.

Last Row: Ch 1, sc in first tr, [ch 3, skip next 3 tr, sc in next sc, ch 3, sc in next tr] 6 times, ch 3, skip next 3 tr, sc in last sc. Fasten off.

FINISHING: Mark center 30" of one long edge for neck. Fold fabric in half and sew seam from markers to edges.

Neck Edging: With right side facing, attach yarn at seam; ch 1, sc evenly around neck; join with a sl st to first sc, Fasten off.

Poncho Edging: With right side facing, attach yarn at seam; ch 1, sc evenly across to corner, (sc, ch 1, sc) all in corner, ch 4, * skip the tr row end, sc in the sc row end, ch 4; rep from * to next corner; (sc, ch 1, sc) all in corner, sc evenly across to first sc; join with a sl st in first sc. Fasten off.

Weave in ends.

Fringe: Cut 22" lengths of yarn. Holding 2 strands together, fold in half forming a loop. Insert hook into sc along long edge or into the ch-1 sp at corner from the wrong side of the fabric and into the loop; draw the loop through the fabric; draw the yarn ends through the loop. Pull on ends to tighten. Trim ends.
