Directions are for Size 10. Changes for Sizes 12, 14, 16, 18 & 20 are in parentheses.

MATERIALS REQUIRED:
Columbia-Minerva Nantuk Sweater & Afghan Yarn (2 oz pull skein): 5 (6-6-7-7-7) skeins

Needles: One pair each "Boye" Sizes 6 & 9

Gauge: Stockinette St on Size 9—9 sts to 2 inches; 6 rows to 1 inch

Back: With Size 6 needles cast on 76 (80-84-88-92-98) sts. K 1 and P 1 in ribbing for 8 rows, inc'ing 1 st each side on last row. Change to Size 9 needles. Work in St St on the 78 (82-86-90-94-100) sts to 18 inches or desired length from start to underarm, end on wrong side. Width across back is 17¼ (18-19-20-21-22) inches.

Raglan Armholes: Work same as raglan armhole on back of Apache Pullover. Bind off rem'ing 26 (26-28-30-32-34) sts for neck.

Front: Work same as back to 8 inches from start, end on right side. Start neck border: Next row P 33 (35-37- 39-41-44), [K 1 and P 1] 3 times, [P 1 and K 1] 3 times, P to end.

Row 2: K the K sts and P the P sts as they face you.

Opening: Work 39 (41-43-45-47-50) and sl them to a holder for right front, work to end of row.

Left Front: K'ing the K sts and P'ing the P sts, work 2 rows.

Eyelet Row: K to last 6 sts, P 1, K 1, yo, K 2 tog, P 1, K 1. Repeat Eyelet Row every 14th row 5 times more And At The Same Time when front matches back to underarm, bind off 2 (3-3-3-3-4) at side edge once then dec at raglan as on back every other row until 28 (28-29-30-31-32) sts rem, end on wrong side.

Neck: K 1, sl 1, K 1, psso for raglan, K to last 8 sts, sl 1, K 1, psso for neck dec, P 1 and K 1 to end. Repeat neck dec every 4th row 6 (6-7-8-9-10) times more And At The Same Time continue to dec at raglan every other row until only the 6 border sts rem. Continue to work on the 6 sts for 2½ (2½-3-3-3½-3½) inches. Sl sts to a holder.

Right Front: With wrong side facing, sl sts to Size 9 needle. Join yarn and work 2 rows.

Eyelet Row: K 1, P 1, K 2 tog, yo, K 1, P 1, work to end. Finish to correspond to left front. To dec at neck: On right side, starting at opening, work 6 sts, K 2 tog, K to end.

Sleeves: Work same as sleeves of Apache Pullover. Bind off rem'ing sts.

Sew raglan seams joining sleeves to back and front then sew underarm and sleeve seams. Weave or sew neckband sts at center back then sew to neck.

Make a yarn cord or use ski-boot thong for lacing.

Be Sure Your Stitch Gauge Is Correct.
